mark your diary for the celebrations
welcome
WELCOME to this special website celebrating 50 years of sailing on the Maroochy River by past and present members of the Maroochy Sailing Club.
Since that founding meeting at Cotton Tree on Easter Monday 30 March 1959 hundreds of members and their families have nurtured the wonderful sailing club we still enjoy today and which continues to promote sailing in our local communities.
Our club motto “Developing Friendship Through Sailing” is more a statement of fact than an objective.
So come celebrate with us!
We want to know where you are.
We want you to send us your stories, memories and material memorabilia so we can all share them.
We want this to be your celebration too no matter how far away you might be.
More details will be posted on this site as they become firm - so keep watching.
Meanwhile spend a few minutes and make contact with us. Revisit some special times you have enjoyed in the Club. And spread the word.
We do look forward to hearing from you.
Put it in your diaries now!
